I know nothing?

these were the speedy players you mentioned that play in the midfield
Lovett, Dempsey, Winderlich, Jetta, Nash are all quick

Il put them up again for you
Lovett, Dempsey, Winderlich, Jetta, Nash are all quick

Lets look at it
Lovett- rarely plays midfield, unreliable, yes he is quick but doesnt get enough of it.
Dempsey- when he plays a few games we can talk but at the moment he is battling at bendigo
Winderlich- about time he has come on been long enough, still doesnt finish as he should
Jetta- played a couple games, hardly a solid contributor for the year, plus he has an attitude problem and needs to get over himself.
Nash- plays a more defensive role.

Lets look at our regular midfielders
Watson- slow
Pev- Slow
JJ- Slow
Shall i keep going????

First of all I am an Essendon supporter and have been my entire life. I love the club, i go week in week out and have done since i can remember.

Secondly a few glarring points need to be responded to, some peanut commented that West Coast and Sydney won GF by a point, hey moron they were in a grand final. Surely you cant say we played well against richmond and melbourne? (two teams below us). Sydney and WCE we played well, the boys were fired up, it was great, but we were lucky.

We lost 7 games last year by less than 3 goals without lloyd (lloyd is a shadow of the player he used to be).

We deserved that win we were 6 goals down and we came back and won I dont think you could say we were lucky

You were complainign because we hadn't drafted speeyd midfielders. I was showing you that we have done just that. By the way, where did Lovett play today? Looked an awful lot liek teh midfieldfor much of the game. Also, always good to see someone play the unsubstantiated rumour card with Jetta. How does the fact that he has an "attitude problem" affect the fact that we drafted him and that he is a speedy midfielder. Also is he meant to play every game in hsi first year? Must be rubbish if he doesn't hey? Nash will end up in the midfield dont you worry about that.

Also, the slow midfielders you mentioned all didn't get a game today. Watson isn't quick but is scott west? No, and he plays a similar role to Watson.

I know nothing
You said it not me

Is he though?

Since 2003 ive been waiting to say it, finally now i can, with a big loud voice and big smile on my face BYE BYE SHEEDY.

Everyone saying how much we have improved this year, wake up and smell the coffee we are an ordinary side that got lucky. We beat two of the teams below us by less than a kick, we were lucky against sydney and west coast and adelaide.

Everyone keeps saying "look at how good our kids are" Who? WHich kids?
Looks to me like the best players week in and week out are Pev, Hille, Mcveigh, Lucas and Fletch, so which kids are you all talking about? Stants? He is hardly a young player, he has been at the club for a few years now.
Davey? We got lucky with him, but remember we all had a very high opinion of lovett in his first year and he has gone missing.
Ryder? Played some good games and is developing quite nicely, but watching him a few times he still has a very very long way to go.
Slattery? PLaying OK, but still to really do anything ultra impressive
Nash? Has been around for a couple of years is doing ok, but again he isnt going to be the next judd, kerr or cousins is he?
Jetta? Played a couple of good games at the start and seems to have lost his way.
Gumbleton? Played ok last week, but then again look at selwood and gibbs they are playing well week in week out.
Houli? PLayed a couple of decent games but needs to get back into the side to develop.

Basically the club has been on the skids since we lost the granny, we recruited some ordinary players and relied on top ups to keep us going. With teh going of Sheeds maybe we can put a stop to the rot, BYE BYE SHEEDY HEllo someone (hopefully) with a game plan, fresh ideas and a brain.

Thats either Robert Walls or Magpie

i think i want you to be my new best friend. i'm so sick of essendon supporters hailing sheeds as the messiah when in actual fact we all know that half of us wanted to see him go 4 or 5 years ago. I respect and appreciate everything he's done for the club but his time is clearly up.

He is going and yes his time was probably up but he is still a deadset legend of our club. Onya Sheeds. :)

Get your facts straight before you start bagging people.
Jetta was injured in round 2/3 for the rest of the season, hasnt lost his way.

Gumbleton has played 5 or 6 games, he's calming his nerves and he hasnt developed yet but he'll be the new pav.

Slattery is playing fantastic football, a good young tagger. (what do u mean by saying 'yet to do anything ultra impressive?" do you expect all of our young players to be the new James Hirds?)

Davey is a GREAT young player, everyone talked up lovett, yes.
but davey has already shown he's willing to go in and do all the 1%'s aswell. example: most forward 50 tackles by anyone after round 10. and won the army award.

Ryder is exactly what we need, an awesome talent at CHB / FB for after fletch and michael. very pacey. tall. can get tough at times. whatta player.

what kind of essendon supporter are you? a collingwood supporter in disguise?

if your looking for a team that didnt improve look at richmond and the dee's they both went BACKWARDS

RICHMOND UNLIKELY PREMIERS IN 08!!!

Ha ha - Gumbleton is the most overated half sized middle tier player ever - hes almost more overated than the western bulldogs.

If hes going to be the new pav then Mcphee will be the new Matera....dream on

For all the yap aboout your list it clear that its not great and the names your throwning up still need ALOT of work, alot of wait and see and only one is a key postion player.

Essendon has got a lot of work ahead of itself and needs to get a midfield first (which is the hardest area to develop/draft/recruit) and then needs to start planning to rebuild it backline (now one of the most important aspects of the modern game)

Truth is Hardwick was on the money when he said 5-6 year to return as a force - anything shorter will get you backin the eight but not much more.

Call me a troll if you want but i am the truth troll

It is embarrassing you went to the trouble to put that post together.

Dont waste our time, your attempt was pathetic.
