It's actually still possible for Richmond to finish, but it's 1 million to one.

Richmond 48 (121.9%)
Hawthorn 48 (107%)
Fremantle 48 (99.3%)
St.Kilda 48 (95.2%)
Geelong 46 (97.3%)
Adelaide 44 (100.4%)
Carlton 44 (100%)
Sydney 44 (99.9%)
-------------------------
West Coast 44 (99.3%)
Kangaroos 44 (95.5%)
Collingwood 44 (90.6%)
Melbourne 42 (99.6%)
W.Bulldogs 40 (100.4%)
Brisbane 40 (100.4%)
Essendon 40 (100.2%)
Port Adelaide 40 (95.3%)

Haha great effort. Imagine that- a wooden spooner with 10 wins and only 2 wins off first :thumbsu:

Forgive the intrusion, but to bust this equation as D, the discriminant (b^2-4ac) is less than 0, there is NO real solution (or possibility of finals if you will).

Yes, but there is an imaginary solution.. ;)

Here's my ladder.

I've penciled us in as a loss against Port since it'd be stupid to win that game. Draft pick difference between 9th and 14th is huge.

I'd suggest Adelaide are extremely unlikely to finish below us.

lets just say that will be tested in 4 weeks time. As for the pessimists, if we go into the crows game winning our next 2 and losing to the scum, look out when we reach the crows. That will make it 7 wins while the Swans face the cats on the same day, and then have a ****ing hard run home. The bonus to us is that we only need to keep winning the winnables and if we jag one of the unwinnables, the Roos are who we have to catch, who are teetering on being a clone of us as the bummers have become. ;)

However I'll be rooting for your mob to snag 8th place to bring some excitement to the finals. The less interstate teams, the better.

....clearly your a fake collingwood supporter, the figures dont lie!...:D...

and so many of you took the piss out of this thread.
I bet you'll all be doing the ladder predictor now.
8th spot is up for grabs.
I backed 'em at $51 last week. That will be shortened now.

Believe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
.............that's what the players are doing!

The only way we can make it is to beat either the Pies or Saints and win every other game. Unfortunately I just don't see us winning against either of those sides or winning all of the other 5. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to see us lose the next 2-3.

Take the lid off and run with it. As a collective, the Tiger Heads should run with it big time. Get behind the club and cut sick until it becomes mathematicly impossible. The kids we have are busting a gut to get there, so lets support them right to the end.

The last two games have shown we have what it takes, so all our energy should now go to North next week. The following week after North, we will wait untill then. But for now... Go Tiges

9th would be an incredible result after an 0-9 start and comparisons to ****ing university

I reckon we'll win another 3-4 games and finish about 11th or 12th

its so funny how quickly all the talk of pick 4...then 6...and now maybe even 8 have just gone out of all end-of-year result discussions for us.
its now all light-hearted chatter about whether we'll finish in the dreaded ninth place, if we can still mathematically make finals, etc.

such a good sign. hardwick's boys have a genuine winning culture and its about time we got behind it 100%

We definitely are better than WCE, Brisbane, Port & maybe Melbourne, Essendon. So we could genuinely finish 11th or 12th.

If things go our way we will win games against NM & Adel, if that happens, it really makes things interesting and we could finish 9th-11th.

If we beat either Collingwood or St. Kilda, then we could finish 8th-10th.

If we beat both and win them all we could finish 7th-9th.

Whatever happens, even if we lose them all, I've gotten everything I wanted out of 2010 and lots of interest in return!! It's been an awesome glimpse of the future and I can't wait for 2011!!!!

Im swearing my head off when Farmer screws up a handball and gives up a goal.

Im berating Jake King for killing a potential Conners goal.

Im throwing the headback for every miskick.

Im already concerned about what we will do about Boomer Harvey next week.

ITS GREAT TO HAVE A FOOTBALL TEAM TO BARRACK FOR AGAIN. Its been years since I cared so much. When McMahons goal after the siren stirred little in me that day I really thought that a lifelong union had been broken.

Get with the program RT. Its looking like 95 again. Each week most would be saying the same thing, "i wouldnt be surprised" and with each week came another win and then the TEST came that was to put everyone onto the program, was when we went over to AAMI and rolled the crows. ITs not that different this year, barring the fact that we have now come from nowhere. That test will come in a fortnight against the Pies. For me the roos are toast, they hold no fear for me, seeing as they are around about a Lions or Swans standard and we have just beaten a top 4 team, with us being undermanned.
Hold on to your hat dude, this ride aint gunna end all to soon. Take a look at the Lions and then think about what we did to them up there, then see how the aints went up there. As i said to many here are forgetting the form guide and with each week it keeps on keeping on. ;)

With wins against North, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Port i have us finishing 9th or 10th with Sydney depending on percentage. I think that those are winnable games, so is Carlton but i put that one down as a loss.

If the results went our way then we could finish in the top 4 lol. That would require some major changes in form from a lot of teams!
