And now the obligatory “in any other year Bailey Smith would be a serious chance for Rising Star but Sam Walsh blah blah blah” discussion

Walsh breaks most first year disposals which automatically means no contest. Just like Matt Crouch 47 low impact disposals were better than Bont’s destructive 31 . Media obsessed with possessions over impact - at least one of them said Bonts 22 are better than 39 from others.

The medya have shot their bolt over Walsh and nothing will pull them back now. Yes he’s good, but Smith should be a legitimate contender rather than vying for second.

Famous runners up - Marcus Bontempelli and Caleb Daniel

I wasclooking at Rhylee in warm up and could not believe how strong and thick set he was in legs. He will be very strong in the contests and we could have another beauty here.
Yep...saw him at training and thought it was Wood. They both have enormous thighs. Must squat together.

Good game against a traditionally tough opponent.

Damn our forward line has gone for disfunctional to frightening within a couple of months.

Reckon we could get to second week of finals at least. Kudos to Bevo and the players (specially our mids who are easily the best in the league).

Would love to smash GWS again but I think it will be a damn sight closer in a couple of weeks. Reckon we can sneak the win.

Go Dogs.

Ok, so you make up lies, can't back yourself up, and can't even make a good argument. Top quality poster ;)

Of course, if you actually checked the changes thread, I was suggesting people like you are overstating the importance of structure, and underestimating experience. As for Trengove, you don't need to look far to see people calling for his inclusion for the game against GWS. I was hearing it no less than a minute after the final siren from people in the crowd. Clearly many people took the hint when Adelaide scored like 3-4 goals from marking high loopy kicks.

It was David King who said it and its absolutely right. Bont always attacks with his possessions and doesn’t specialise in the one two like other midfielders

Caleb in for Will Hayes for the GWS game, if Caleb is fit. No other changes necessary. We played in second gear after quarter time...

Sometimes this board is very strange. The team we all love just made the finals after a crap start to the year and is now playing scintillating footy yet most threads turn into some weird series of personal attacks. So much like much of ‘social media’ these days.

Maybe I’m just old and don’t get it.

Caleb Daniel is more than a month away from being fit, last update of the medical report.

I was at the game and didn't understand the Cordy hate in the live chat thread. In the first quarter, he was excellent in several contests near the wing I was watching from.
agree he saved about three goals in the second quarter if i remember correctly. he was very solid,
