Got 5 barcodes that i can offer.
The only issue that i have is making sure the person getting his hand on them is a non Geelong supporter.
How can we verify this?

So any AFL members, they're saying tickets are on sale Monday at 9am to 1pm. Surely our allocation won't be exhausted if we go in at 9am, maybe even lunchtime? Surely most Cats fans will be Cats members, and not AFL Members (as AFLys can't get in free to Simonds).

If we do end up having to play down in Geelong I would be more than happy to take two tickets off of someone's hands (Obviously I'd pay for them) so I can then wave the scarf just like last years final at the MCG

That depends on how you define class. I'd say our club is one of the best clubs to its supporters and its members. One of the classiest things I've seen was last week's game with the members photos making up the players numbers as a way to reward the record membership. I'd go as far as to say it was REALLY let down in the coverage and the plaudits it received from the media with just a short spiel at the start of the game but that was a really classy act.

On the other hand being bitch-slapped by the AFL's ineptitude and being insulted because this is a "one-off" event (exact words of Andrew Demetriou) then I'd say an immature dummy spit to dampen the home crowd and lower the expected revenue for the city it's in may just be cathartic for some supporters. Not a classy act for sure but definitely one that suggests a proud and vocal supporter base who don't want to be pushed around based on their size and "popularity".

All I know is that I reckon this whole furor will have lit a spark under our boys and if you ever needed more motivation than being a highly rewarded final. The pressure will be back on Geelong if we can jump them in their historic final and we willl want to hurt them for it as well. Ross isn't stupid...

The tickets will be going on sale 7am (WST) Monday at ticketmaster.com.au/aflfinals. I can't make it, but I'll buy two tickets and make them available to any Freo supporters during the week. If I can't sell the tickets, tough. It will take extraordinary effort to win this game.

Can we get this information on to as many Freo supporter channels as possible? Can someone get this thread going on Dockerland?

I will be more than happy to get tickets for someone, will get the tickets anyway and just hold them if need be.

I think for all of those who are left with tickets (if we can't sell them to a Freo fan) - then after the game we should all send them to AFL House addressed to Vlad, along with a note to tell him what we've done.

I'm another that disagrees with you SA. Why wouldn't you do everything possible to help out your team? By making the feral home crowd advantage that much smaller and quieter aids our team - every little edge counts.
