I was 6229, so don't feel so bad. Took 17 minutes to get in. Ended up in 334. Prefer to sit with some elevation on the wings (normal seats are at the back of 143), but happy enough considering how far back in the queue I was. Will be good to watch the game from a different perspective.

I prefer sitting on the third level, but we'll be down at the ground level for this one.

One silver lining for COVID was being able to experience different areas of the ground, although I'll miss the normal banter from around our area.

Holy shit the Ticketmaster app has cooked me

It's a never ending loop of entering the queue, I got through and it says "are you a member" I click on it and it puts me back in the queue

Absolutely ****ed

Now on the queue on my laptop but it is likely tok late by the time I get through


Edit: got through on the laptop after another 10 and secured tix

Lesson learnt, never used the app, jeez that was frustrating

I went for premiership terrace and none available (~10.20am). Second try I released the tickets and tried again. Third try ditto. Fourth try it gave me the same as my third try. So I gave up and bought them. Never got booted out.

Computer worked fine for me fortunately (and lucky we are playing GC so an extra 12 mins didn't cost tickets)

I've never had an issue before but jeez it sucks when you have one, there is nothing you can do if the app just cooks itself and puts you in a loop, would suck to miss out through no fault of your own.

This is why I'm not a fan of them implementing the system where you can only use one of the app or the computer (had to enter mobile code) because now there isn't a backup option if the first one fails, instead you go to end of queue.

They didn't have that system when I bought oasis tix last year, people would drop off the queue from all platforms once they've secured their tickets anyway so I don't see why they've changed it.

I was tempted to buy one of those $1 Gold Coast memberships to get ahead of others for tickets but I realised you have to pay for the 2026 membership as well so I just went "**** that"

That risk is still better than having triple the traffic because everyone has 2-3 devices logged on and the whole thing crashed because they can't handle it.

I remember trying to get tickets for the Optus 2021 GF in general admin for my family but was zero chance. Luckily I already had a barcode/ticket from a legend Melbourne fan on Big Footy who couldn't go. I think I was 160K in the cue for 5K of tickets.

Yep, I suffered that for 15 minutes before backing out and getting back in again. Pretty poor system, as always.

Wish I new this yesterday I bought a purple army membership. And it doesn't include presale after all. Lol. I stopped my ticketed membership during covid.

That was pretty much a scam from GC. Advertising $1 memberships, but you had to also buy a whole 2026 season membership.
