Ticket queue process was pretty smooth. But I didn’t know that you can start queuing ahead - I logged on at 9.30am just to see what’s what and was put into the ‘Waiting Room’ and told there were nearly 7,000 ahead of me in queue.
Plus, TM required a new password from me only yesterday and by this afternoon, required yet another.!!??

Pretty sure it randomises the order as soon as the winow opens. I entered waiting room about 9:50 and had 7K in front of me.

Got rubbish seats in the 500s as a priority 2 for $35.

Which is less than i paid to go to the "away" game vs North. Bizarre really. I had worse seats in the final vs Bulldogs and paid 3 times as much, really weird

Got mine at the very back but at the end of the day there's really no "bad seats" in Optus.

Just being there in the atmosphere of finals footy is worth it.

sadly i was very busy at work and as priority 2 only got one in a nosebleed section up in 545. i’m not sure if i can make it due to baby sitting issues and it’s a single ticket - so may pop back here next week to gift it to anyone interested.

Looks like it's pretty much sold out...from memory AFL usually releases some tickets a couple of days before the game that they hold onto for AFL members etc, do they still do that?

Ticket Master frustrates me so much! I got my ticket earlier and I was forced into 'best available' but a was wanting a certain area. So after many attempts I settled on close enough.

I logged on at 3pm with the general admission and there was so many seats left and could choose off the seat map exactly where I wanted to sit! Why do general admission get treated so much better than members? It ridiculous

You wouldn't believe it, I was logged in 2 hours beforehand on my work computer, clicked the second it opened, ONLY THEN it decides to tell me my network was blocked. By the time I logged in on my phone I was 10,500th in the queue.

Managed to get two tickets literally seconds before I got a msg from a friend that it was sold out.

Managed to make an excuse and got out of an Exec meeting for 20 minutes. Got nose bleed seats for me and the family (two of us who have gone to 5-6 games this year, the other two who are more armchair watchers).

Better seats than we got for the Doggies final in 2022 - but couldn't care where I sit if we get the same outcome (maybe not the same stress as that game though!!!)

I got allocated position 4,777 in the queue and that was the longest 15 minutes waiting to see if there would still be some left.

Ticketmaster still feels like amateur hour though - even when I join the queue to book weekend golf at Wembley I get told what number I am in the queue and how many slots are left. Why TM doesn't have something that says 'Approximately xxx seats left' is beyond me.

Missus and I couldn't even get two tickets sat together at 11.15am... which makes zero sense but we had to take what we could for fear of missing out, missus was losing her mind and I had to work.

Ended up with seats on opposite sides of the stadium!! Have to watch from one of the bars I guess

Me too. Joined early, put in waiting room and over 8500 in front of me when I joined the queue. Got to the front clicked 'Are you a member?' and got the wheel of death. Very frustrating. Happy enough with level 3 in the end, even though 308 isn't great compared to our usual seats.
