Prime of his life and he precedes to pop out 3 kids before 30. If that's not complicating things enough, he has an affair at the end of his career just to ensure he gifts her half of what he's earned.

People are quick to assume what actually happens. Who knows what goes on behind people’s closed doors. While there is no excuse for cheating on your wife you don’t know what really happened. Maybe their marriage was already over before he did it. Who knows. The death of a child is something no one can comprehend unless you’ve been through it. How that effects people and a relationship must be very hard. It’s their private life so don’t make assumption and leave them be. But I guess when you put something on insta it’s not private anymore.

In which grand finals has Rohan played in where the forward line DID gel?

Long bow to draw to say this off field issue affected his game. He's just not a big game player.

No evidence Hawkins punched him though which is the spicier, possibly football related part of the rumour.

Dare say a big guy like Hawkins, who would box for training as most clubs do, would give him enough of a whack that we would know about it. Maybe just gave him a verbal serve.

Hawkins has been suspended for striking about 50 times, but never done any damage. Couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag

A good point.

My guess is that Toby Greene tried to throttle Finlayson on Mad Monday last year but the club hushed it up because they like to pretend that Toby isn't a trash person. :rainbow:

I have no idea why most professional sportspeople get married or into committed relationships during their careers. You're young, rich and famous for a short time, go enjoy it before you get tied down with a wife and kids. Doing it the other way around just leads to tears and divorce settlements.

It’s an interesting issue and quite a few players (see the Perth influencer WAGs in particular) have had marriage breakdowns as soon as their careers are over too, probably because said WAGs had become accustomed to the lifestyle only to realise they’re now just married to an ordinary dude.

That said, Rohan’s not exactly 20 like Stringer was, and plenty of players seem to be able to do the right thing and keep it together. Probably says quite a lot about the individuals involved.
