Does anyone know what is happening with the finals coverage.

I just checked liveafl.tv and they don't have the schedule for this week up. Are they showing all the finals live?

Also here in the UK at the moment ESPN are only showing Friday's game live and then a game delayed on Saturday night? Will they be showing any more?

if this is anyone, send me a msg...

also, what channel are they broadcast on? i found this out a while ago but cant seem to find the info again...

ok, quick search turned up this from the afl website:

United States of America

AFL coverage in the United States of America is televised on ESPN2.

ESPN2 is the second largest of ESPN's six US cable television networks, reaching 98 million homes. In addition to televising at least four matches during the 2010 home and away season, it will also carry live coverage of the 2011 Toyota AFL Grand Final.

In addition to the televised coverage, fans in the USA can access live online streaming of AFL matches weekly on ESPN360.com.

Visit www.espn.com for more information.

cant seem to find any broadcast schedule on the espn website?

edit:
espn3 is showing afl from 5:40am september 9th, which should be the geelong game, and live? 5:40am here = 7:40pm back home?

again on ESPN3 5:40am sept 10th, which will be the saturday night game... but cant find the pies game anywhere?!?! :(

US

I heard that ESPN2 will only show the GF from the second quarter onwards, with ESPN Classic to show the full game along with ESPN3.com. This was the same case last year, but had access to ESPN Classic at the time unlike this year.

Got ESPN2, but no way am I going to miss the start of it. Internet it is.

ESPN site now saying Saturday arvo game is also live (Coll WCE) but no sign of the other two games.

It looks like they have Scottish soccer on early in the afternoon for the next two weeks which means no live Saturday night game.

I am just looking now, and for me ESPN Classic is only $7/month, which includes a bunch of other channels. Not so bad if I can sign up now, watch some of the US Open, and cancel in a month. Maybe better than watching through the internet, although ESPN3 streams I've watched have been pretty good quality.

Checked again last night. ESPN have changed their scheduling to show Coll/WCE live instead of on delay at 11pm sat night...

Thats two games live this week. I think they get 1 per week from here on and the GF.

liveafl will pick up the rest.

Yeah that's an odd omission. At worst, you'll have to grab it later on spekky.

With ESPN it's not really taht odd.

They ALWAYS show the Friday game and choosing 1v4 (especially when 1 team is Coll) is not exactly suprising.

I agree Ess/Carl will be a better game but I dont think they really factor that in.

Just checked the liveafl website and they are showing all the Saturday and Sunday finals

I'll be in Auckland next weekend for the World Cup and need help on places to watch the AFL there, especially if the Swans make it through. Anyone got a tip?

Dude, I just said before:

Hence: http://www.afl.com.au/broadcast%20guide/tabid/9451/default.aspx#loci=New Zealand

Check that link Monday/Tuesday for details on Finals Week 2.

For anyone in Asia, you can watch every Finals match live on the Australia Network (cable).
Most hotels will have it, or I've never had a problem going to an Irish pub and asking them, if they haven't already got it on.
