There are a few players from the Swans who they're getting nothing from. Hawks should probably be in front by more. Their run is getting on top now though.

Outside players struggling badly in this one though. Brad Hill pretty much the only one who's getting involved a lot.

Damn, this game is a reminder of finals football being a different game, Hawthorn really well drilled to control the tempo. Intensity at the contests is crazy.

Just really struggling with the intensity of the game. Him having zero influence is letting them just double team Tippett/Pyke out of it. That said though their midfield is struggling as well.

Sydney have been too focused on the man tonight. To beat Hawthorn you need to guard the space as much as the man, and they've failed that. Mids just leading into space easily and if Sydney do manage to get there it's a scrap.

What're you talking about, Gilham is a world class defender.

I have to say, GWS' recruiting has been quite poor. If they didn't have every opportunity to get it right in their first year I don't think we'd be considering them a future force.

I can't see sides like Richmond and Carlton getting anywhere near the intensity that Hawthorn and Sydney showed for most of the game.
