How good have the the finals been today, Port playing out of their skin! GWS must cringe everytime they watch Wingard, what a gun he is.

What should we wish for tomorrow? A draw?

A great day for our great game and Australian Sport. Freo win down at Geelong and a team that won 5 games last year have convincingly beaten "Custard Pies"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although I would've picked Collingwood, its really not a great surprise that Port won, they beat them by 6 goals not that long ago, and 8th beating 5th happens pretty much every other year.

Kudos to Port. They were absolute crap last year and this year they've improved 1000%.

Honestly I would say all 3 games so far have been upset wins.

Hawthorn because even though they were at home they lost both Franklin and Rioli while Sydeny gained Tippet and Hannerbery and only lost by 10 points the week before.

Freo against Geelong in Geelong is probably the biggest upset for the year
and now Port over Collingwood at the G it's been a remarkable start to the series and have especially enjoyed today's viewing.

It's always one the best of the best weekends of the year. Final last night, two finals today and races at Flemington and Randwick. I don't know which screen to look at. I'm over stimulated

Ahh finals. Tough, hard, contested footy. BMac would have a boner watching all three games so far.
Hawthorn were magnificent, Port were amazing and Freo were both tougher and more composed than the Cats. Btw was anyone else reminded of the 2009 prelim watching that game (without the dodgy frees )? Geelong just kept bombing to nobody and when they did have shots on goal just lacked the composure Fremantle had. The most heartening thing I've felt while watching these games though is, we can and have played that type of footy, we are just a few pre-seasons away from being able to monster games like these finals, we may not end up the most skilled side but we'll pound those type of teams into submission.

So, anyone ready to watch the first ever bruise free final today? We'll be lucky to see more than three tackles.
