Looks like the AFL is set to screw us again:

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-04-01/AFL-Finals-Ruling

If the Dockers and the Eagles happen to finish in positions 1, 2, 5, or 6 there would be a requirement to have two games over one weekend in Perth, which is impossible due to the Rugby international on Saturday the 6th.

The AFL advisors have indicated that it is likely a Fremantle game will be played either at a neutral venue or the oppositions home ground as they have a lower total membership count.

Are you serious AFL - this just after yesterday's news is devastating.

Would have thought if it came down to a decision of one team not getting the home game it would have to be who has the lower ladder position.
But I forget we have our own set of fixtures and rules the AFL devises that applies to only us.o_O

Chill - I made it up :)

But.... the funny thing is it's believable haha

Absolutely totally 100% believable. I believed every word and I'm not even ashamed to admit it. You're an evil genius, and I mean that in the Cartesian sense of someone "as clever and deceitful as he is powerful, who has directed his entire effort to misleading me." :thumbsu:

They didn't learn from there mistakes last year. Home final at Simmonds, yeppie.
EDIT - This was a joke? Oh you sick bastard, sad thing is this was 100% believable, even with the page not loading, because the afl website is even a joke.

I liked the OP because I've already scrolled through the thread and seen the reactions :thumbsu:

First decent april fools joke I've seen today (am waiting on the BBC's one and some of the ones out of the states)

Edit: Also, put the post up on WBP :D

Thank you.

What is WBP by the way?

It would have been funnier if you said that the AFL were going to start treating all the clubs fairly.

That would be a fantastic joke.

Naaaailed Ittttt!
