I don't think you can rule out Adelaide at home given their recent revival. We could find ourselves facing Richmond in the EF.

even better... it would be nice to knock them out yet again.I don't think you can rule out Adelaide at home given their recent revival. We could find ourselves facing Richmond in the EF.
That is disgusting tbh. Its un-tenable. Huge disadvantage mentally for anyone that plays them.Yeah. AFL confirmed it, they would get their first home final in perth if they finished 5th

The Eagles, who are expected to finish fifth if results go as expected in Round 18 but could still make the top four, would be allowed to host a final in Week 1 - but only then, due to Western Australia’s quarantine policy.
If they finish fifth both West Coast and the eighth-placed finisher (either Collingwood, St Kilda, Western Bulldogs, Melbourne or GWS) will complete a seven-day quarantine period in Perth before their final.
But if the Eagles finish in the top four, and host either a semi final or preliminary final, it will not be played in Perth.
“Based on a 7-day quarantine period, a final is achievable in Week One given the bye weekend, but not in subsequent weeks,” the league said.
“Under the quarantine requirement, both teams will only be allowed to leave their accommodation for training sessions and the match.”
Especially for a team that’s already hubbed there....That is disgusting tbh. Its un-tenable. Huge disadvantage mentally for anyone that plays them.

Apparently that was the AFL stance up until a couple days ago. I wonder what changed their mind? I'm hoping the tigers stumble this week so we can finish top 4, to make this whole thing moot anyway. I was also thinking of Sidebottom who will quarantine for two weeks in QLD and then will have to do it again for a week in Perth. All the more incentive to get the win against Port and finish 6th.The AFL should have told the WA Gov. Fly in and out. Or NO HOME FINAL.
Swans would need to surprise geelong for them to lose.Cats can finish 5th if they lose and WCE win.

They already basically are. Would take a miracle for Tigers or Cats to lose.If this keeps up, the Richmond and Geelong games will be irrelevant for us.
What happened to Kennedy?Kennedy might be out, McGovern and Yeo wont play EF, Shuey is touch and go, Redden out for the year.
The Eagles look vulnerable.
Ankle injury, according to commentary. What happened to Kennedy?
Collingwood are awful in the rain.Need it to rain if we play them.
Yes but so are eagles. They don’t play well when it’s not dry so we have a better chanceCollingwood are awful in the rain.
last prelim got a dust up until the rain settled in the final quarter.
