The hot topic right now for me is who are our best 22. I couldnt see johnno subbing on, he's far too good a ball getter and can help set up a win if an opponent chooses to throw the kitchen sink at thomas and pendles. For mine Johnno starts and can interchange through the middle and on the wings with our top notch mids.

I have goldy in my best side, macaffer missing out surely by now, max wont come back and i rate the fas real high right now. In close, he's an absolute ripper, and can set up outside players beutifully, he's strong, he can take a specky, he kicks truly, etc etc.

My best 22 has Krak missing out. I think blair busts his gut more than krakouer. I know krak is a champ and can evade players. I honestly think krak and blair are fighting for the sub spot. I'm torn but like blair more, maybe its his height and the fact that he's an against all the odds story. come to think of it, krak is an against the odds story as well. What if we fuse Blair and Krak's bodies together for one day. Buttifant could work it out. Apologies to Krak and Krak lovers (pun intended).

Oh yeah, Didak starts for mine. have noticed an unselfishness in him in the games he's been subbed on in recent times that i never thought was possible. he's also done some real fast passing (see the port game especially) (I know it wasnt much of a challenge playing them), but he seems to be thinking of himself as a master creator up forward, or its been coached into him or something.

Bro, the sub is in the best 22. You mean we will pick our best 21 and then the sub, yeah?

If fasolo takes a few more speckies this week, boots another five in a game, does he still miss?

No, I mean we pick our best 22, and then decide which of them is to be the sub. We wouldn't pick a sub who is outside of our best 22.

From what i've seen of Beams since he came back from injury, he's one of the first i'd pick to play. He looks the goods at the minute, will set September on fire. Looks so fresh.

The more i think about it, the more i think Blair will miss, and it kills me inside. I honestly think he's fighting Krak for that spot, and that Fasolo is ahead of both of them.That big grab Fasolo took has got me smitten.

Yep. I all likelihood it will be a small forward and these 2 are at the top of the list.

The way I see it is both can come in and rotate in the midfield if need be and both offer class up forward.

The team I see playing finals is

B - Toovey Tarrant Goldsack/ Maxwell (if fit)
HB - Davis Reid O'Brien
C - Shaw Swan Thomas
HF - Beams Cloke Wellingham
F - Didak Dawes Krakouer/ Blair (alternate being the sub)
R - Jolly Pendlebury Ball
INT - L.Brown Sidebottom Johnson
SUB - Blair/Krakouer

Bit stiff to miss out - Fasolo, Macaffer, Buckley

Can literally play anywhere on the ground bar ruck.

I agree, Maxy is valuable for more than just his paying ability. He is very well respected and a genuine leader.

He may take Goldy's Sub spot? I can't see him coming in for one of small forwards, we'd be too heavy with defensive players.

No way will Didak be our sub.
He's far to good to be sitting on the bench with the vest on.
Even if his form is a little below his normal brilliant standard,he would still attrack a quality defender to him,with the other coaches knowing how he can turn it on and break a game open in a ten minute burst.
