premium is the best though... then prime then standard then restricted and standing.
meant prime

my concession only cost $39

thinking of costing, how on earth can the AFL explain a $10 ticket increase from last year?

Because people still buy them.

And for those who are worried about seats on Level M (ground level) into the double letters (AA, BB etc.), I sat M36 row JJ (back row) at last year's grand final and the view is fine.

M19 for me.

I tried to get tickets on levels N and P but even though I got on at 9.00am exactly I couldn't get them. I was after 6 tickets, maybe that was the problem?

Anyways, happy with what i got but I just hope it doesn't piss down.

6 tickets would not be the problem bro cause i got on the net at 9am and got 6 in a row in N52 row J:D:thumbsu: I think it is just their computer program systems they just offer you random seats, i guess a little luck may come into consideration.

That's what I thought as well. That was certainly the case at Ticketek where we purchased our tickets, completely random and nothing the operator could do about choosing tickets. Then I hear through the friend of a friend who is a Bulldogs supporter that she went to the Whitten Oval to get tickets and she was offered the choice of 3 premium areas in which to sit for the game? So I have no idea how it all works now

Yeah, but would be because those 3 areas are "Bulldog areas", and probably won't even sell out.

Following Collingwood has it's advantages, and it's disadvantages, one of the disadvantages is that our allocation sells out quicker, especially in the better areas.

I went straight for Q for the Pies game even though P was available.

I wanted to make sure I got a seat and didn't care if it was on the roof lol

Got a bit more adventurous with the Saints Cats game, Level P dead center wing.

Big weekend of footy coming up for me!

Good point. But you would think that 1st thing Monday morning they would still be able to give pies fans the choice of say 3 different pies areas in which to sit? My main point though is the Ticketek operators saying they can't offer you a choice of bays because of the way the computer system operates when clearly they can.

Ok screw it, bought them stuff our plans and the weather I'm going to be there.

Went online straight after 9am and asked for 8 seats undercover. They gave me M16 AA. Stupid me rejected this. Last year I got M19 under cover for all the games I went to as I am probably one of the first ones in. After rejecting those under cover seats, I end up with no more under cover available.
Ended up taking M20 row Q - which are excellent seats.
Did not want to gamble further and end up in the clouds.
Would have preferred under cover only because of the bloody rain forecast.

What more did you want for undercover seats? They are almost perfect!

Just wondering how many tickets are left? Also is it better to buy general admin tickets now or at the gate, assuming it's not sold out.

I'd seriously doubt this game will sell out, there's just not a huge interest from the "neutrals" in this game vs the Cat/Saints game.

My advice would be to buy a GA ticket before you go, for 2 reasons, 1. You are then guaranteed entry no matter what. 2. You don't have to line up outside the ground, probably in the rain.
