So I waltz down to collect my tickets. I have 4 in Block 135, 4 in Block 344

He prints them out. Out comes 16 tickets all shrewn across blocks 130 odd in blocks of 4.

"Umm these arnt my seats, for starters I didnt order any seats in Block 133, secondly I have 8 memberships (had them in my hand) and you gave me 16 tickets"

No matter what I tried to do the gutless twat wouldnt help me so I just left it. Gonna scalp the rest to friends etc without memberships.

I got one lot behind the goals at the city end where the Sun will make you blind.
The other lot are 150? I think, is that around from the city end towards the railway on the lower levels?

150's not too bad - northern flank on the 50m arc (city end) - and yep, lower levels

Doesnt sound too bad. Usuals are up the Subi end. I watched 1 final down the city end behind the goals but that was the night semi final against the Bulldogs in '06 so have not had the pleasure of behind the goals city end on a hot afternoon.

had a nightmare run getting tickets this morning. We are noteholders so was up and on the phones 8am first thing...online wasn't working as has already been mentioned and was on hold on the phone from about 8:01am when i first got through until 9:10am by which point normal members had also gotten in and had a crack at a large chunk of tickets and we ended up with seats in block 237. Not really happy with my seats, obviously happy to have seats and could be way worse...but wtf is the point of being a noteholder if im just on hold until tickets are released to normal members...whom hop online and get tickets straight away when doing the same thing for me didnt work!!! grrrrrr

rang the club after i finally got through and got our tickets and apparently what happened is the blocks allocated to noteholders sold out in ten minutes and then ticketmaster was told to allocate more seats to us, and in the process completely shat itself. Like i said happy to have seats and very happy to be going, but i think the club really stuffed up this year as far as noteholders go.....first preference to finals tickets is the whole point of being a noteholder , and this year i would have been better off buying tickets at 9am with everybody else.

Could be interesting trying to fit 80,000 people in to a 40,000 stadium .... as long as they haven't doubled up on block 135 I'm happy, otherwise the media will really be able to report about feral WCE fans

I had a very similar morning to you - had both the club and ticketmaster on the batphone at once.

However at 9am I got through with my noteholder tickets online and nabbed quality seats - ended up hanging up on ticketmaster.

they only allocated 4 blocks to noteholders. surely its not that hard for them to get the maths right.
