Had a family member been lining up at marion, she had been there for the past 2.5 hours and moved 20m and still another 50 odd people in front of her

When they announced that cat 2 tickets had sold out she got me to do it online

decent seats for cat 3, frustrating that virtual adelaide oval is down on both Port and crows website

On the ABC yesterday they mentioned 8,000 tickets put aside for the Tigers based on previous experience with finals in Adelaide? If that's the case there are Tigers supporters spewing.
8k they have to be kidding

We get that at training ;)

Hey which cheersquad sits in the Riverbank stand? Know someone who got a ticket the next bay around from that cheer squad, they're hoping its Richmond but I'm thinking it's Port.
port, if its 126 its the bay right near they port boys run out

Yep, ticketek is the pits. Had 131 tickets in my hot little hand hit the 'purchase' button and was timed out. Still managed to snare 3 Cat 1 tickets in 340 before they presumably sold out so things could be considerably worse.

Hoping to witness Port's first AFL final win at Adelaide Oval. History here in the making.

Same bay as me. Watch out for the bloke abusing Chappy and Rance all game. Rance is going to cop it after his antics at the end of the last game we played against Richmond.

Still so pissed I was on at 9 with the bar codes all ready to copy and paste and had already logged in and everything ready for a quick purchase and still got screwed over. Can't believe that I was offered bay 131 first up. Friggin joke. Really disappointed I couldn't get 135-136 or 335.

And the fact that Richmond appear to have been allocated 335 is driving me nuts.

Haven't heard from Creighton yet, hope he has been successful in getting the seats he wanted.

You did well. I really wanted BD seats. Absolutely spewin that I'm in Bay 143.

Nah 122, any idea if there will be any other Tigers there?
The tickets are allocated on a club basis. If you have 122 and you have a tigers membership you will be in a tigers only bay. If you bought that with a power membership you would be in a power bay.

Well they used my tiger membership so she will be happy. However I'm gonna tell her that end is all Port, just for fun.
Thanks for the help guys and good luck (not too much) hope its a great game :)

Anyone able to confirm that the 5 best bays in the stadium were given to Richmond fans?

Wont be doing the family all together thing again. I want to get close to my seats in 335.

Had several strategies planned. My sister doing the m.ticketek online option, brother in law go to Findon Shopping Centre ticketek store and I went to the AEC. I was 22nd in line at the AEC where they had 4 ticket sellers. brother in law was 15th in line at Findon with only one seller so he said stay in line and he came down to the AEC and told my sister not to worry about ticketek. Took about 35 minutes to get to a window. By the time we got there we couldnt get 8 in the 130's or 330's on the eastern wing and struggled to get 8 close together broken into 4 x2 in the 530's. We got 527 row A in the Riverbank Stand. 527 was a great spot to watch the cricket right behind the bowlers arm. Hopefully its pretty decent for footy.

Next year I will only be buying 2 or 3 tickets using the m.ticketek site login in straight away and get a seat in the 130's aisles if I can't get one in the 330's.

It appears we did get 135 and 136 from posts in the other thread. I'm spewin I couldn't get that area. Apparently getting on at 9am on the dot isn't enough.
