You might try what I did when we played The Bulldogs in a final. I bought tickets as a member but wasn't too pleased with them so on Wednesday I got on as a member of the general public and bought 3 more that happened to be in a much better position. I sold the others at cost to friends that wanted to go and they ended up being very pleased with the seats and the fact that we thrashed the Bullies.

I remember getting tickets as general public in the second row in the second stand at the southern end for the Collingwood final that went to extra time. They were "restricted view". The restriction? There was a safety rail in front. Didn't block it at all.
 
Huh. I bought my ticket this morning, setting up my account beforehand, and received the donotreply email with the order number confirmation. All well and good. However, I just now attempted to log on to Ticketmaster and, lo and behold, I apparently don't have an account.

I'll wait til 4pm and if the ticket hasn't arrived in my inbox, I'm calling WCE membership.
 
I received my tickets (i.e. the PDF file) at 1.23pm. Hopefully everyone else who is concerned/been having problems receives them shortly as well. :)
 
Sadly not being an eagles member or noteholder.. i'm going to have to wait till GP tickets go on sale.. just a few quries;

Whats the difference between restricted view and budget (Is restricted view significantly restricted).

What would be the best way to approach it phone, interwebs... or take a bottle of scotch with me and weather a cold night (Willing to go to such extremeties).


Watched all bar 3-4 games since 08.. would love to be there for this young teams first home final. :thumbsu:

Restricted view seating can either be significantly restricted whilst others you are left wondering what the restriction in viewing actually is. It's pot luck to be honest. I've sat in some really good restricted view, and some awful (where you can only see half the field).
Budget seats of course have no restriction and are always behind the goals. They are not bad seats.

Why were you on an hour before tickets went on sale? (or are you a noteholder?) Do you get put in the queue as soon as you log on :confused: Sorry, im just trying to figure out how to do all this. Buying mine 9am tomorrow



32000 tickets already sold, with 3000 allocated to general public

Yeah, I'm a noteholder:cool::thumbsu:

I just keep pressing refresh untill it displayed 'find tickets', so I was one of the very first in. It opened a little before 8, bout 7:59:20 according to my computer.

ah okay. damn noteholders :D I usually buy them over the internet every game (I buy general public rather then wait the thursday before the game for re-sale). Its easy to do. Just really worried how slow the website will be. Dont want it to crash on me :(
 
Try going to Challenge stadium (or any ticket master outlet), my mum went at about 11:30 for the Dockers final last year to get tickets for my sister and she said there was hardly anyone there.

Probably weren't aware they'd made September. Old habits die hard.
