Anyone want to swap seats with me? I was on dead on 9am and got the worst heckin'g seats imaginable for premium price. Strongly considering Ebaying mine because every heckin'g year without fail this random allocation of premium seats gives me worse viewing than i get in my regular season STANDARD seats in block 334. Not heckin'g happy.

****, they're stretching it a bit with the premium grading.
Mine are shithouse, up the back of the second tier in the pocket, and apparently that's premium.
Happy to get seats, but at the same time kinda disappointed, was online pretty early and had better ones, but entered a number wrong and by the time i re-entered it they'd changed the offered seats.

Hey guys, good luck for this week. Just wanted to know how the seats were in section 320, near the front. Are we really far back? Seems to be a really weird place to be considered "premium"...?
I think the rpblem is that what they seem to do is grade area's as premium, standard or whatever, and then the ticketmaster site offers up any seats from the best available area.
So even if there's much better seasts available you're just as likely to get something shithouse, gven it's graded as 'premium'.
Surely it wouldn't take that much effor for a team of people to go through and realistically order the specific blocks in terms of quality.
If you are the front of that block you'll be fine - its not the scale of the MCG - the whole of the side stands of Subi are as close as lower stands at the G
Most of Subi is "Premium" due to sheer demand for tickets for games, not necessarily a reflection of comparative seating position

They are graded in order... mate use to work in their ticketing years ago... it starts near the wing and works around etc, offers isle seats first etc etc
Anyone got ticket prices? Ive been undercharged dramatically or I havnt bought enough seats it seems

No way they are graded in order. I had my tickets by 9:10am. And people posting here much later ended up with much better seats than what i got.
Ive been charged 177 bucks for 5 tickets. How is that even possible?
Yeah, they could, but what do they get out of it? If they do nothing, Ticketmaster still sell the tickets, and we still buy them yet that costs them...nothing. So they do nothing. If there's not downside to them for a crappy system, then it won't change. Can't see it changing either - it would take government legislation to prevent venues for allocating their ticketing service exclusively to one agent, and that's very unlikely.
48 minutes later they hang up on me and now are not answering any phone calls. Ticketmaster has to go after today surely?

No problem at all... if you just backpack it you'll clear the airport by 3.30ish, and grab a cab, tell them to take you to Subiaco (whichever Subiaco pub Blues supporters are hitting) via the "Graham Farmer Freeway Tunnel" (if they go through the CBD it'll take longer) - other side of the tunnel you should see your cabbie take the "Loftus/Thomas Street Exit").
Cab ride should be around 20 minutes, landing you in Subi for a good hour's drinking before you need to start walking to the ground. If the cab really starts to slow once you are on Hay St in Subiaco (you'll start to see fans walking everywhere) just jump out and walk - once you are on Hay St and seeing fans walking, its only 5 min walk to anywhere including the ground
