watched Carlton today and there is no way they would have beaten Freo on current form, skill errors everywhere. Dominated possession for 3 whole quarters to the point that Bris hardly had the ball yet still couldn't pile on a score.
North more of a threat than Carlton, and i highly doubt they'd have beaten Freo either.

Who knows? Nobody ever will.

I thought the TV networks don't pay to show aflw? I thought they are forced to show it as part of the tv contract with afl mens comp?

As of last season it has it's own deal. It's not much, but it'd probably be enough to cover costs for a few finals games.

It is such a pity that the season has finished this way.

In an ideal world there would have been a way to complete the finals either now or later on in 2020 with some massive hype and exposure.

The 2021 season can't arrive quickly enough.

There was. Grand Final last weekend.

It also requires the AFLW to be run by people who are halfway competent, so that's an issue.
