If Swans lose then Carlton will come out hard and ensure giants don't win.

Carlton v Sydney week 1 is worst scenario for Carlton. They def would not want to face a finals experienced side week 1.

Just in general they'd obviously rather play the Bulldogs who scraped over the line against Geelong's VFL side than GWS who just defeated them 2 weeks prior. You wouldn't want to play GWS anyway, they have a fantastic finals record, never losing the first final that could eliminate them. They make the 8, they always get a win.

All the Vic finals will be MCG. Only if they had to play two on Saturday would there likely be a move to Docklands.
Its a stretch but maybe St Kilda v GWS could be at Docklands, being a small Vic club against a lesser supported non-Vic club, but there's no need to not play at the MCG.

Pies have the same changerooms regardless if they are home or away at the MCG. Melbourne fans will be out in force, will be a 50/50 split, Pies to take over AFL members area, Dees to take over MCC.

From what I can gather it'll be:
Pies vs Dees- Thursday night
Lions vs Port- Friday night
Saints vs GWS (marvel)- Sat arvo/twilght
Carlton vs Sydney- Sat night

Could maybe swap the Brisbane and Carlton games but it seems fair to me that top 4 teams get to play earlier on in the weekend. Did see on twitter that stadium golf is on at marvel that weekend so who knows if that will dictate anything.
