My dilemma this week is I'm off to the abrohlos Islands fishing tomorrow for the weekend but we sleep on the boat and there's no internet out there so while I'm pulling in those thumper baldchin grouper, snapper, coral trout, Spanish mackies, yellowfin tuna etc I'm going to have a little niggle in the back of my mind regarding late outs and captain choice... I might need to take top shelf beer for this trip.

You bastard, good work sounds like an awesome weekend, I have dived on the Batavia great fishing. I will be stuck in Cervantes on the weekend without a boat, will just go to the club and watch the Eagles vs the Bombers, I will fish for bait Ha, Ha. Anyway good luck and back on the thread, Hibberd is back with the main training group this week for those that h ave him.

I was thinking trading Higgins and Dunstan for D.Martin and Rockcliff/Kennedy

Maybe trade Dunstan for Rocky / Kennedy, then see how you're doing in your matchup Saturday night with both the Doggies and Hawks playing Sunday?

Hold the last trade unless you have to as Higgins has a BE of 49 and Suckling 60. They may make you a smidgen more cash for your final upgrade the next week. Higgins should score OK against the Kangas, Suckling may not see a lot of it with the way Freo play. But the danger of holding Higgins beyond that is Sydney the following week where we'll get pummelled.

A) Trade down a non playing bench player for additional cash in the bank, then make 2 upgrade trades next week
B) Trade weakest players DalSanto Libba Roughead or Dalhouse this week.

Bear in mind that this is my first year in SC but in your position I would probably downgrade Roughead if Crow Cameron gets a game this weekend. Dal Santo just had an off week and Libba can usually be counted on for 80-100 even on a bad week (which admittedly he has a few of in a row now). Rougheads week off is against his best averaging against opposition of the last 3.

Keep an eye on the Dogs squad, (I know it seems like I'm pushing my own players) but Easton Woods injury means Fletcher Roberts probably gets a run in his spot for the rest of the season. Good breakeven of 11. Would leave you with $490k-ish to spread around your remaining 4 upgrades, which is a lot considering you already have 3 of the top 6 defenders and Jaensch and Duff finding form again, 5 of the 8 mids, top 2 rucks and good FWD's.

After that you can upgrade Cameron to Parker for around $340k, and maybe Petrie / Dahlhaus / Zorko to Boomer for $100k-ish, or sideways Martin if Lueuy comes back.

Goddard is cheap if you have other trades in hand use the cash else where.
All the players you said are good picks Boomer,Grey or Boak prob the best picks.
