Anyone else going to watch this new series on SBS tonight?

It's touted as a 'look behind the scenes at the ethics of journalism in Australia'.

Ellen Fanning is a good journo and host, so i'm looking forward to seeing what she brings to the table.

I've missed it, has anyone seen it, and is it worth watching? I think we are all old enough to realise that news/journalism is controlled by the corporations that own them......

I watched it and was pleasantly surprised at the openess of the Jounalists featured. We all know that journalism is a game of seduction but it was interesting to see how an experienced Journo gets members of the public to trust and then often confess imformation of a highly sensitive nature to a person who has no more interest in them than as the source of a good story. I'm looking forward to the episode featuring Virginia Trioli and the story behind her tense questioning of serial liar Peter Reith over the "Kids overboard "fiasco. In a sea of unethical, opportunistic jounalistic methods hers was as good as her profession can be.

Definitely worth a look. The honesty was quite refreshing, something you certainly wouldn't see on the commercial stations.
