Would just like to be the first person to say thanks for fiora :p
I just want to let you know that in last nights intra club game he played awesome and was judged one of the best on ground. This thread isn't an attempt at being a troll, just wanted to tell you.
Hopefully knobel is having the same results as what we have got out of fiora

He may look slightly competent at training or even at an intra club but once the heat is on you watch him lose his head.
His skills look quite goood when not under pressure.However,he is one of the dumbest footballers in the AFL.He's the only left footer in the league who instinctively turns onto his right foot. :D

Plus he has muppet arms.

Good luck with him though, I don't wish any harm on him.I wouldn't mind if he becomes a senior player for you.I doubt it though.How many Richmond 'rejects' can you remember making it at another club in recent history.
 
Fiora is a talented player and he should be pretty handy under a good coach. Alot the fools here seem to forget about 80% of our team underperformed. Fiora wasn't the only underperformer. Anyway it's a pity that fiora, zantuck and ottens didn't get to play under wallace for different reasons, because they would have been handy talent to have in our new structured team. Anyway, I'm happy with our replacements of knobel, simmonds and draft picks ;)

we actually traded troy simmonds for him and yes he too was amongst best players...trent knobel was merely a scraping from the bottom of the barrel...nothing more or less

he is a new look player, put on 6-7kgs and last night even back into a pack for a mark. Also i can tell that there was pressure put on the players throughout the game it was one of the most ferocious games i have ever seen in a practice game

Ok fair enough.I've had the misfortune to watch every one of this guys games.If you reckon you've re invented him good luck to you.I severely doubt it.All I'm saying is wait till you see him in a real match before you get too smug.

Incidently,he can only really play wing or at a stretch hbf.Whose spot will he take.Aussie Jones,Voss,Dal Santo,Clarke or Goddards?

He'll be a good replacement for Black
If he's put on some weight then I imagine his confidence to back himself in contests will grow
I'm sure theres some bad blood from Richmond supporters because he never did anything for us in the time he was here, but I won't be at all suprised if he makes it at StKilda and he'll probably be the first Richmond player to wear a Premiership medallion for many years.

i imagine he'll rotate thru those positions.

I understand all your hatred/frustration towards him as he had so much potential but week after week he disappointed
 
intra-club practice match and he has them raving already....

good luck to both, but really the saints fans should go watch some replays of old muppet arms....he might be serviceable at best personally, but then again the guru (GT), might reinvent fiora i doubt it....
 
wot i find interesting is that hes put on 6-7 kgs,

we were that incompetent that we couldnt even get that pretzel to put on the weight? we had several seasons to develop his "physique"...

Drafted at a young age from a country town and wouldn't surprise me a bit if the move to Saints is the kick up the bum he needs to make the next step. I liked him. :mad:
 
It's a joke that he has already put on 7kgs in 4 months at St Kilda, but he couldn't put on that weight in 4 years with Richmond. Who the ******** is/was our weights coach? Have we got a new weights coach this year?

He has only put on 7kgs because the minute he walked into Morabbin, all he was hearing was 'premiership this' and 'premiership that' so his head started to swell like a watermelon!! ;)

It has nothing to do with not lifting enough weights, it has to do with eating
You can lift all the weights in the world, but if you don't eat enough protein your muscles can't grow
 
They can say he has put on 6-7 kg but the reality is every player puts on weight in the pre season and usually it balances out when the season starts. Fiora will still look the same.

There was an interview with Aaron in The Age just after he was traded and he admitted that he needed to focus on eating more over the pre-season.
When the player is at the club they are being made to train, not stood over while they eat a couple of steaks, it comes down to motivating yourself to eat anything you see.
