Game of footy is simple and is the one that is made up of simple structures. Stick to it and you'll go well.

Trust me mate the game against Roos was one of the worst I have seen. No heart, no guts, no skills, **** farting around the flanks, when we did bring it forward and a player made a contest there was no crumber in sight. Tip: When you watch the game expect the worst so you won' be that disappointed.:(
Surely out of every game, there must be some positives:( :( :(

1. They would have pulled their finger out. They are still champion players but what they showed yesterday was shameful, pathetic, crap and any other stuff you can come up with. It was a disgrace.

I think that may well be the problem, maybe the players think like you do: that they are champions, and the coaching staff should take the blame whenever they don't do they job they are paid for.

Normally I would agree with you, but that Crow team, was very good on paper, and very experienced.
If they were young and inexperienced, I'd agree. But the coach, or gameplan, or both has got them. And one, or both have to be changed!
Everyone has a bad day, so let's judge them on more than 1 game.

Kane I agree we can't continually change our opinions on players from one week to the next. They have to be based over a full season.
However my comment was made on the basis we essentially had our best side, and were beaten convincingly.
So what's the KPI that failed: gameplan, preparation, coaching, fitness, desire?
Surely the coaching staff are asking these questions, if they hope to turn the result around this week.

Hi.. I'm new to this board :)

Why the hell did Ayres play McLeod in the back pocket?

Why did he go so defensive in most of the centre bouces with Shirley, Stenglein and Doughty?

I'm sure the coaching staff will be asking hard questions this week & I expect them to tell the players the performance was totally unacceptable & embarasment to everyone associated with the club (including us the supporters). If we don't get a fierce response from the players this week, then I will be very worried about our season's prospects. However, for now I'm hoping it was just an off day.

too right.

though if this continues, plenty of players will be out of job at seasons end as well as the coaching staff.

Won't they sue? Or did he actually break his own fence because THAT would be quite understandable considering the circumstances....... oh the pain :(
