****ing do something. Do anything. Fire someone. Fire multiple people. Do it tonight. You're the board. LEAD.

Tell Brady, and Kevin, and Patch, and Barlow. And Jennifer. And Thursfield. And about a dozen other people you can name... tell them not to bother coming in on Monday morning. Their security cards no longer work on Level 2.

For our club to have over-estimated our on-field trajectory this year this badly is a systemic and organisational failure that cannot be swept under the rug.

We are abysmal and we don't have our first round pick. And we won't get any additional support from the AFL either.

This is the rubicon and our club is on the far banks. It's time. You can't hide from your duties any longer.

Do something.

that was bait and you took it hook line and sinker....

owned in your own thread

Even obvious bait is sometimes nutritious.

Make of this what you will. A colleague of mine (Swans fan) attended the North/Swans game at the SCG and was sitting in front of the North players who were injured/not playing. Said they were drinking all game, some of them very drunk, with one even needing help walking down the stairs.

It's true, after a few cans I did fancy my luck and told a Swans fan sitting behind me that I was out for the week but was hoping for a call up very soon. In my inebriated state I mistakenly thought to be on to a good thing so ordered a few more drinks, but probably should have stopped at half time as the rest of the Sydney trip is a blur. At least we can begin to piece together how I exited the SCG, just a shame the sordid tale has ended up here.

Thanks for sharing but do you really think players not playing would be sitting in the stand hitting the pi55? Also, I don't think the injured/dropped players travel interstate with the team. Just doesn't add up to me.

Mate come on. We are a rabble but this is just so far fetched not even a child would believe that. We have 1 tops 2 travelling emergencies for interstate games.

Our boys were playing vfl in the earlier game in Sydney.
