I know every supporter base thinks their team gets the bad calls.
But the momentum of the game swung on a bad call yesterday.
Giants kicked 4 or 5 consecutive points beginning of 3rd quarter.
Johannisen thinks he'll waltz out of defence by running and turning away from Jye Caldwell, who nabs him and sticks the tackle.
JJ drops the ball. Umpire blows whistle.
It's right in front of goals. Caldwell to kick.
No what the? Holding the effing man? Are you for real umpire?
And Bulldogs immediately travel forward through the witches hats and goal.
Certainly no noise of affirmation on that decision, no 19th man, no home ground advantage.
the free kick differential only tells a fraction of the story as to how bad the umps wereI know every supporter base thinks their team gets the bad calls.

Reckon Leon has held himself back from having a crack at umpires ever since West Coast game when he had a crack at them at QTR time.the free kick differential only tells a fraction of the story as to how bad the umps were
Gee i wish Leon would draw attention to it. I know we don't want to sound like bad losers but there needs to be a mention if it is going to be written about in the media and therefore be addressed (seems the only way to do it)

Tobes was moved fwd in the 2nd half and we fell apart.
Says something really.
Exactly, Toby Greene belongs in the middle, Kelly the wing or forward. I have said it all along.
Williams better as a midfielder. Gave up to goals when in defense!!!
Apart from umpires that were very bad, GWS had a lot of passengers.
Reid was bad, De Boer ineffective and Simpson really makes GWS down a player.
With Simpson and Mumford against the Hawks GWS are two down so cannot win. With Simpson against the Bulldogs GWS are at least one down.
O'Keefe kicked two goals, Tomlinson one. Both these have to be rotating through the ruck for GWS to have any chance with any sort of run versus the bulldogs.
Hately had to play!!!!
With the selections GWS played the Bulldogs on one leg!!!
Nah if Cogs, Hopper and Ward are fit then I'm happy, very happy to have Tobes as a small fwd.
Williams had a bad bad day no doubt but is usually very very good down back.
Tomlinson should be let go. Has done nothing all year and was pretty much jogging around on the ground the past few weeks.
Hey we want Leon gone to. Well some of us.
Nope, Hopper and Toby both are in the guts. But Toby can rotate back into the forward line when Coniglio gets back.
The reason GWS did well when Kelly and De Boer was out is because Williams is better in the midfield than defense and Toby is better in the midfield than up forward!!!
GWS weakness is the backline and Williams makes it worse. Davis might not agree but he had a poor game on the weekend to!!!
I agree Tomlinson runs around as an inbetweener that seems to be a jake of all trades master of none!! As such, he needs to go into the ruck and rotate with O'keefe so GWS is not one or two men down due to rucks that offer nothing!!
The sooner the captaincy goes from Davis to Toby with Coniglio the better.
The youngsters need to step up and move on from the older players that are holding them back so they can develop and achieve the goals they seek to achieve including ultimate premiership glory!!!
We haven't down well at all since MDB and Kelly got injured.
So who gets left out of the middle?
Ward, Kelly, Cogs, Hopper, Taranto, MDB, Greene, Williams?
Davis has been shocking the last 3 week's.
Leon isn't ruthless enough to bench stars.
Commiserations on the loss.

Eh? Nah we were absolute s**t.Keep trying to deflect from your 60 point flogging by focusing on a couple of minor decisions, while ignoring the ones that went your way, seems like a winning formula.
This coming from the club Gil has openly spoken about wanting them to not lose their best players. If you seriously think the umpires made an iota of difference yesterday then you’re exactly as knowledgeable as I’d expect a GWS fan to be.
