I am one of those who prefers to operate in a Google free environment as much as possible so I run alternate programs where I can.

Mozilla have just released a new version of Firefox (V89) and there are several changes within the browser.

I Use Duck Duck Go as my default search engine had to modify Firefox to get DDG back the way it was and restore my original home page.

It also found several add ons were not installed on the browser. Included in this change was my trusty pay wall add on. A paywall add on can be easily be installed via a search on the Mozilla store once you find your way around the new hamburger style settings menu.

The main changes appear to be cosmetic with some operations simplified but I would have thought in any upgrade previous settings and add ons in previous versions would have been maintained.

Any one else use Firefox and had to tweak things?

Yeah, I had to change a few settings to get it into compact mode and turn off photon or something. I disliked the extra spacing in all the menus.
