Great on everyone else having a moan but not having a solution and would rather sit there and watch the whole match while the league turns to ****. I applaud you.

My idea was for everyone to hang a Mr Whippee on the seat, and then leave.

I didn't have such a huge problem with it but I thought 4 police and 2 security was a bit over the top.

Further I think that those around him looking surprised/shocked at their presence and also chiming in saying he did nothing wrong helped.

2 security and 4 coppers to tell a bloke at then footy to quieten down a bit that's just an amazing waste of manpower/money the world's gone mad

The fight was in the AFL members, not the plebs area.
Apparantly though, according to AFL members on here the reserve is the safest place in the ground(s).
I also note that alcohol was a big factor in the fight, which it appears to be in 99.9% of all fights.
There’s an easy fix here...

Hmm 76 people interested and 27 likes at the time of the threads creation says a bit! There’s two extremes to this issue the AFL’s and this. I’m going to remain in the middle, barrack hard for my club and be courteous of those around me. I’ll let the numpties at the AFL and anyone that wants to conduct a mass walkout go about their business

I'd just like to be able to get in. The Pies are playing the Beagles over here in Perth in a few weeks. I try to make most matches but over the years tickets have been scarce. To cut a long story short, the game is a sellout and I need tickets to be able to shout and disrupt the beagle supporters. If I manage to get tickets and make the game, I will gladly make my protest and be thrown out......

You used to be able to smoke at grounds.....but it was banned because it had a negative impact on others at the ground...

and i know that they banned umbrellas over here in the West because it had a negative impact on others at the ground...

so using that as a template, we should think about other things.....alcohol.... body odour......displays of affection...

A better reaction would be if one person is ejected then everybody fills the aisles so they can't get them out. If you want to show solidarity then no-shows are a poor, passive-aggresive way of doing it.

To be fair, we are winning most of our Q1s this year, so seems worthwhile to head to the bar for a drink and snacks for Q2. I'd be up for that.
