it may have taken us 20 years to work it out that its not the coach,s head that should be on the chopping block but better late than neverOriginally posted by topdon
Spud and Schwab are the two in the firing line. I'd say Frawley would be marginally ahead due to Richmond's history with these kind of things. A lot will depend on how they start the 2003 season.

Neale Daniher if Melbourne have a bad season.

Not while I'm alive, we don't want him back after his 1987 AGM "speech" and alot of senior Hawthorn people still remember and feel the same.

Grant Thomas if the Saints are struggling again.

Sure will tell. If Thomas can't get the Saints mid-table with the talent you have, then they should both leave. If the Saints do well, good luck to them, but I don't think I'm alone in saying that Thomas hasn't done anything so far to convince the football public that he is a good coach.Originally posted by Vaul Darkhour

Going through the list, l think next season will see a season of no sackings.
The safest:
Matthews, Sheedy, Pagan, Williams, Laidley, Roos, Thompson, Malthouse, Connolly.
Unlikely to be sacked:
Daniher, Ayres, Worsfold, Rhode.
Potential Risk:
Thomas, Scwabb, Frawley.
Although l have 3 in the potential risk zone, unless either of those teams has a Cartlon type year, l think they can consider themselves safe.
If l had to pick one, Frawley would be my man.
