I ran into US figure skater Johnny Weir(Weird) at the airport in Chicago on my way here in 2010. It was right after the Vancouver Olympics. How did I know it was him? Mink coat and flowing boa.

My brother is in Vegas at the moment. Great place to be during a Super Bowl. I was there when Boston won the World Series in 2004. Vegas loves an underdog.

A person's post must have a certain je ne sais quoi to get a Like from me. I was always a hard marker as a teacher. I don't think the others got the Goldbergs reference in your Super Bowl post. I did. I could just see the family celebrating. Underrated TV show.

I usually give likes in this thread to boost people's egos. It makes me feel good about myself.
In other threads I like a post if it adds something witty, snarky or advantageous to the discussion. Dodgy's comment about the Goldbergs in the Super Bowl thread was subtle. If you haven't watched the show you wouldn't get it. It was a perfect reference and had me wishing I had thunked it up.

- a like to show that i agree
- a like to show "congrats"
- a like to show i like their post
- like bombs
- I've also given a few sarcastic likes before. ie. i do not like their post at all and i think they're a d.ickhead.
