Why are they showing a repeat of part of the Opening Ceremony on 7? No events running now? Waste of time.

Most of the night events start at 9 or 10pm AEDT. Korea is 2 hours behind

Not really. There are less events so there's less overlap, and NBC would probably prefer they hold as few events as possible before 8pm local time, as that corresponds to 6am US EST.

Yeah. This side of the world is the worst for the Olympics for NBC and they do foot a lot of the bill for them.

I think it's great that a 17 year old kid from Cleveland can win an Olympic Gold Medal. He's only 5ft 5in tall. At least I would have beaten him in that when I was 17! Who in their right mind would want to spend so much time in the freezing cold and snow? Not me.
