Shut your gab! Julie Chen is a goddess. There is no sex with Big Brother. We are all equal in his/her sight. Well, there is sex ON Big Brother, but that's something else.
The word "Brother" should give it away teach. I'm all for equality.. but BB is a he & HE should not be seen. Just the voice.
Julie's cool tho. Nothing against her. Great personality.

Aussie BB did have some cameos by "big sister" now and again which was sweet I thought.

Dunno what better things BB had to do tho..

I don't know what kind of crap they served here as Big Brother, but obviously it didn't work since the show is dead. Julie is "the host" of BB, not BB himself. You do know where the term came from, I hope? If you were talking about the "voice" in the BB house, then yes, I'd agree. I didn't really pay attention if any voice was used last night. It has always been a male voice in the US version when calling the houseguests to the DR or telling them off from what I can remember. I looked at YouTube a little while ago and someone was streaming the show live from the East coast. They're already up to Episode 4. I might try and catch up with the other episodes and watch future ones live online.

Did you ever buy the feeds for Aussie BB? (I presume they had 24 hour feeds here.) I decided not to get them since I knew that I would have become addicted. I watched the first BB back in the summer of 2000. It was a summer show just like Survivor which had started in May. I never would have thought almost 18 years ago that I would still be watching both now.

Yes teach I am fully aware that the term Big Brother comes from the George Orwell novel 1984. I was an A student for English Lit.
Believe it, or not.

I myself was not assuming Julie was BB. It's just we never heard the BB voice. As I said in another post I missed the very end of the episode.
We could not "buy" live feeds here. There was an Up Late show which gave 2-3 hours live in a late-night timeslot.
Chill out friend. I'm the feisty one!

Well idk, I didn't hear any big brother at all last night. Felt weird.

Anyone gonna watch poor man's first dates tomorrow night?
I just looked at a few minutes of the Aussie 2013 season and I see what you mean. BB is a male voice used in the DR. It did seem kind of creepy in a good way. There is no voice in the US BB DR. The only voice in the house is when Julie is hosting the TV show and when the houseguests are called to the DR or told off for something like singing or talking about what they said in the DR. I kind of like the idea of using a creepy male voice in the DR.

Would have been fine if certain people could just let posts go unresponded to ;)
Nuh. That thread is full of shitheads and misogynists. To make it worse. The posts are not even entertaining or funny. I just typed "dunny" ... Freudian slip.
Should be an IQ test to get onto BF.
