I think the academy I went to costs about $15000 a year now. We paid $340 in 1966 and finished at $500 when I graduated in 1970. That was a hell of a lot of money back then. I think I paid my parents back before they died. I have never attended a public school. Catholic primary schools, Catholic high school, Catholic university and finished at a Presbyterian university. My only experience in a government (public) school is when I was a student teacher in Illinois and my 3+ years teaching in Avondale Heights here.

I went to Geelong Grammar once to do a presentation. Could hardly keep my jaw up off the ground those damn rich bastards.

I worked a year and a half in a (pretty disadvantaged) gov school. Absolutely loved it.

During High School, my class went on a field trip to Genazzano College to use their sporting grounds... we were all stunned! Our school was just normal

Ok just saw an ad for "Date Night". Could this be a true substitute for FDs? Anyone know anything about this no doubt trashy new show..

Just that it looks like the show you'd get if you bred Googlebox, Tinder and First Dates together.

It'll be interesting to see if it'll be FDs good, even if it looks incredibly trashy
