I didn't get a lamb souvlaki. I decided to get a pizza, capricciosa, family size, so I can have it as leftovers tomorrow. It's normally just $2 more than a large. My former student, the owner, was there. He would not let me pay for the pizza. I think I told you he used to do the same thing when I used to visit Melbourne. Since I've been back he has charged me $10 no matter what size. I talked to him and a mate the other week when I went to the shops and told him about my health and that my brother and I had pizza and pasta from there, delivered, during his visit. His son works there so, of course, I've told him stories about his father.LOL It's nice shopping in the neighbourhood and getting to know the people in the shops.

Now, I have to decide what to watch on TV tonight. I still have to catch up with two episodes of H&A.

You're the expert C1. :p
That would be my category on a game show: "Arsehole YouTubers". :p

I'm loving the meltdown of the camera-holding First Amendment idiots. Most of the "auditors"(as they call themselves) are only doing it for the views for money, not because they love the Constitution. Boy, some many Americans are just plain stoopid.

I'm also interested in large families that vlog. Most seem to be Mormons, though there is one Aussie blended family that I find interesting. I should start my own vlogging channel, but I'd have to make up stuff happening to me to make it even remotely interesting.

It's funny I could care less about these royals but can still remember exactly where I was when the moment the news Princess Di had been in an accident, and then a few moments later that she had subsequently died. Really shows how much of a big thing she was at the time.

I was in a Maccas- somewhere between Sydney and Melbourne- saw the TV (picture only, no sound) and the newsflash on the screen saying "DIANA- CAR CRASH" or words to that effect. Got back on the bus, thought may as well try and get a signal on my walkman, got one, they were reporting she had died. So I relayed that info to all the other people on the bus, some grannies started crying.

Can't remember where I was when any of those things happened, although I'm pretty sure I only found out about 9/11 the next morning

My Bomber supporting friend was around and I think we were watching them play on TV when the text scrolled across the screen. Was standing next to the ironing board. Mum ran over pretty quick, then a face of sheer horror when it said she died!

I was up live for 9/11. Was watching Talking Footy and my brother woke my mum up, who in turn came to me and told me to change to 10.

Watched until about 3am.
3 am huh, was that when you were unemployed :D I was at the time a few months before stating an apprenticeship, friend from the country was up in Perf attending his TAFE component, seen the 2nd plane hit live. Flatmate had just gone to bed as he got up early for work. Was extra odd that night after smoking a fair bit of weed.

Actually if I had stayed on with my mates over there (going with them from Detroit), I would have been in NYC.

Maybe on the day, maybe not idk- they left Manhattan tho on the 10th.
