Was watching The Amazing Race online and happened to notice the name of the coffee and tea shop in the background. :p

Did Chicago clean up at Vegas lol

No. My biggest win in Vegas was at the airport waiting for my flight back to Chicago. It was in Dec 2000 - $1200. I even have a t-shirt given to me which reads: "I Won a Jackpot at McCarran Airport". You'd think that after 30 or so trips to Vegas I would have won something big in a damn casino!

The above was won on Christmas Day 2017 at the Taylors Lakes Hotel right after Christmas lunch. It was on a 5c machine x 20 lines = $1. LOL

I always lose on those machines but only out like $5 or $10, the most I’ve ever got back is $20 lol

I think the largest bet I ever put on was a whole $50 on West Coast of all teams about 15 years ago. Think I won $40 or something.

Pretty much have no interest in gambling, waste of money.

edit - did go to the dogs a couple of times and that was kind of fun just chucking a few bucks on each race. Bogan central though.

A dollar is the most I ever spend each pull(push). In Vegas I usually played 1c machines x 20 lines at 2c per line, sometimes going all the way up to 3c per line. I watch a slot machine channel on YouTube where one guy gambles up to $500 each time, but mostly about $50 or so. I just can't imagine gambling so much, but then again I'm not rich like he is. Apparently he inherited tonnes of money from his father. Right now he's on an Alaskan cruise where he has live streamed his casino sessions.

I've never bet on the footy. I used to go to the trots at Moonee Valley which was close to home in the 70s. My damn Year 11 students talked me into meeting them there one Saturday evening after the footy. One of the boys' father had a horse running(trotting?) I had no idea what to do so they showed me. I put $2 on Sunray to win and won $20. LOL Easy money. ;) I kind of liked going so did so on odd Saturday evenings after the footy at the Western Oval. Just a bus ride to Moonee Ponds from there since the 82 tram stopped running in the afternoons back then. That's 40 years ago. Good times.

I’d get bored to be honest. Rather go and see a comedy show or get a Long Island drink
