Actually I'd agree with you 99.9% of the time but this is frankly a fantastically unusual set of circumstances where the game is being played a 3 hour drive away and about the most interesting neutral GF match up I can remember. My own fault should have hunted down a barcode or failing that drafted in more people trying for us yesterday.
