I love Border Security. Even watching the repeats makes me smile at how dumb people are. I always disclosed anything that might be questionable. They never had a problem with my stuff. Of course, I never tried to bring duck eggs and hog jowls into the country.
The only place I've had any trouble with Customs was in Tokyo in 1977. I was the only American in my Australian tour group who had bags checked thoroughly. I think they knew that my dad fought against them in WWII.
