Having a routine helps with remembering. When I leave the village I always check that my phone, keys, wallet, medical info sheets and any pills I have to take are in my small black bag. I also have a spare mask, pen, small notebook, reading glasses and plastic carry bag in it.

I also organise my pills for the week every Sunday and put them into the pill boxes in the same order. Even how I get into the shower from my walker and out of the shower is a routine. Having a routine for ordinary things makes life easier for me.

Put a reminder on your phone
I put my monthly shopping for trips to Woolies on my phone on their app as if I'm getting the stuff online. It helps my AgedCare helper, especially the pics of what I'm looking for.

Is it just me or has today been extra cold? I was an idiot and didn't wear a coat when I went out 🤦‍♀️.

Ha. I didn't take my second dose of pills for the day for my BP and went out for lunch. I took them after I ate and that almost looks like me that day. We were at the local country club and they wanted to call an ambulance. After I rested a few minutes and the BP pills took affect, I was OK. I always carry an extra BP pill when I leave the village, just in case. I don't wanna die in Woolies!

Wow.

In Japan, there's a long-standing expectation for women to wear high heels, especially in professional settings, due to a mix of traditional dress codes and social norms. Many companies still require female employees to wear heels, often with a height range of 5-7 centimeters. This practice has sparked a movement, #KuToo, advocating for the right to comfortable footwear at work.

🤷‍♀️
I guess we got used to it and it just becomes normal.
My work hours were initially 8:30am to 5:30pm but then the company changed this to end 5pm. I rarely left at 5 though.

When I was made redundant and they kept me on until the end of the year, I left at 4:30pm and I didn't give a shit what they thought, plus I rarely took an hour for lunch except for Fridays. (What were they going to do...fire me 😛?)
