Was going to say he did it because of the ex wife but doesnt even sound like that at all

She said she had never had problems before when her ex had the kids — and didn’t think his battles with mental health would make him “dangerous”.

“Travis has really struggled since he left the military and his mental health can be hard sometimes,” she told Kiro7 before her daughters turned up dead. “He is impulsive and he loves his children very much.”

Mr Mandy: “Was that a lie?”
Erin: “It was.”
Erin also admits lying to police in that interview about ever using or owning a dehydrator.
Mr Mandy: “Why did you tell police those lies on the 5th of August?”
Erin: “I had disposed of it a few days earlier in the context of thinking that maybe mushrooms that I’d foraged or the meal I prepared was responsible for making people sick.”
Erin says police told her Gail and Heather had passed away.
Erin: “It was this stupid knee-jerk reaction to just dig deeper and keep lying. I was just scared but I shouldn’t have done it.”
Erin admits she also lied to police about foraging for mushrooms for the same reasons.

Yep the scared defence.

This is just all stuff we already know..

I say not guilty to murder, but guilty to manslaughter of whatever kind, see you in 25 years.

In Victoria, manslaughter is defined as an unlawful killing where the offender's culpability is less than that required for murder. It carries a maximum penalty of 25 years imprisonment and/or a fine of 2,400 penalty units. Manslaughter is categorized as a category 2 offence if committed on or after March 20, 2017, requiring a custodial sentence unless specific circumstances exist

Unintentional Killing (Negligence/Unlawful Act):
Involuntary manslaughter is an unlawful killing without intent, often due to criminal negligence or an unlawful dangerous act. Examples include deaths resulting from reckless driving or a dangerous act causing death

I reckon recklessly chucking in some poison mushrooms to a meal served at your house might also apply to that definition

I'm gonna have to stop at Coles on the way home and get some popcorn type snacks.

Thank god i keep gold coins in my glove box.
I should make some popcorn.

It's the seasoning that makes it unhealthy. So if I make it from scratch and just add a little salt, that should be ok.
