Mortgage holders and renters are feeling the pinch – the median rent is now over $600 weekly and house prices continue to boom.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics reported this month that the national average dwelling price has hit $1 million for the first time.

If that isn’t enough to make you feel financially anxious, wage growth has only risen by 3.4 per cent over the last 12 months.

Financial comparison website Finder has also found that 37 per cent of Australians have less than $1000 in their savings accounts, and 59 per cent are experiencing financial stress.

“He had a lot of cancelled lessons and I didn’t want to disappoint him,” she says.
Soon after, Mr Mandy announces he has no further questions for the accused.
Justice Christopher Beale: That closes your case?
Mr Mandy: It does, Your Honour.
Justice Beale then turns to the jury.
“Well, ladies and gentlemen, that’s the completion of the evidence in this case,” he says.
“We’ve reached a point where I’m required to have certain legal discussions with counsel in your absence.
“We will commence those discussions these afternoon.
“You can go home now.”
He asks them to check their phones tonight to see whether they will have a long weekend or be required to come in tomorrow morning.
“We’ll be in touch,” he adds.
The court has adjourned for the lunch break.

Other 50+ sunscreens tested had their SPFs measure between 24 and 43.

Mr de Silva said it was important to highlight that this testing did not mean those sunscreens didn’t work.

“While some specific sunscreens did not meet their claimed SPF, a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or even 20 still offers a significant amount of sunscreen protection, and any sunscreen is better than none at all,” Mr de Silva said.

Lol if I paid median rent of 600 a week...

I'd have $1000 left over to pay for food, petrol. Average per month bills works out to be $500 has to come out of that also.

That's crazy, there is no way I could afford $600 per week on rent or mortgage.
There no let up either atm, I reckon the Perth market has got tighter recently if anything.

Wow so an electric bill where you don't even use your heater, ever, has increased by $50

**** off
Mine was only $20 more than last month. Not bad considering I have the heater on most of the day.

Lol even the Cancer Council sunscreen is not the factor it claims to be
I heard about this on the radio this morning. There was one where the spf was only 4 😲.

I was surprised about the Cancer Council as well.

I use Nivea and it's spf was measured as 40, which is less than 50, but better than some of the others!
