This is a weird one..

2019 petition to create a "time free zone" for Sammaroy Island, a place that experiences total sunlight for 2 months per year

I can't wrap my head around this one

If there's no time when do things happen.
I misunderstood this at first. I thought it meant there was only 2 months of sun for the entire year. But there's actually 2 months of continuous sunlight. Sleeping would suck!

"Time free zone" was just a PR stunt to get publicity. So it wasn't "real". That's why it makes no sense!

Sommarøy, Norway, is known for experiencing the midnight sun during the summer months. This means the sun does not set for a period of time, typically from late May to late July. This phenomenon is due to its location north of the Arctic Circle, where the Earth's tilt causes the sun to remain visible above the horizon for an extended period during the summer.

...

While the idea of a time-free zone did originate with some islanders, the campaign was primarily a PR effort to generate media attention for the island and its unique location

The campaign was widely criticized as a "fake news" story and a publicity stunt. While the islanders did have a petition, the campaign was primarily a marketing initiative.
