As the players shook hands, Putintseva was quick to take her hand away, angering Sakkari.

Putintseva then mocked Sakkari by pretending to curtsy, which the latter took exception to, saying: “Respect me like a human being.” Putintseva fired back as she walked back to her chair: “I was being like a human being. Look at yourself.”

Sakkari asked Putintseva to repeat what she said, and the two exchanged more words before Putintseva told Sakkari to “leave her alone.”

Sakkari appeared ready to walk away, saying “f------ hell” but after hearing another comment from Putintseva, she hit back again, repeatedly telling her: “Nobody likes you” and adding: “When you shake hands, look at the other person in the eye.”

The match umpire eventually stepped in, saying: “Ladies, please”. However, Putintseva performed another bow for Sakkari and walked off the court

I just posted the article I read on the Age.

I couldn't hear the audio either, apart from "Nobody likes you"...especially with the commentators talking over it.

Putintseva comes across as a bitch.

Simple solution tho to this problem of her not looking at her opponent when shaking hands. Just don't shake hands with her, go straight to the umpire

I had a good time at the footy. If only Richmond would have put up more of a fight... Met up with two friends at halftime, one of which wrote the original H/S article about me flying 10000 miles to see the Bulldogs play. Then her second article on me returning in 2006 got me the radio tipping gig.

My friends who drove me aren't sure about using the GPS in their car, so we drove most of the way down Ballarat Road. We got a bit lost in the city near Marvel. At least we got there in time to see the start of the game unlike last year.

I was exhausted when we got home and fell asleep watching TV. I got up to watch the church services from Washington at 1am. Finally got out of bed at 12:30pm. I'm still a bit tired. Our next game is next month against Adelaide.

Nah, I've seen em once, good fun but I'm not a hardcore fan. With the price of concert tickets these days I'm a bit more selective as to what I go to. Though tickets to Metallica in Adelaide and Melbourne was a no brainer of course
