Not even a big fan of theirs but NIN in Sydney 04 was awesome. Worked my way right to the front too.

I saw them in 07 or thereabouts, I've been a fan for ages though. They finished with Head Like a Hole and it was angry as ****, great night.

A great option is getting into local bands, it's usually cheap to see them except for the really big acts and at smaller venues is way more fun too. That's the good thing about metal, usually tickets are cheap to local shows, means I try and buy a tshirt, if you're seeing 4 bands for 30 bucks with 300 people there they're not making much dough out of it.

I record some of the true crime stuff on 7Bravo. I find it interesting. But that's mostly murder crimes.
