Actually that's not a bad idea. When I stayed at my hotel in Docklands- there was this little latch attached to the wall above the door. Like an L shape. You flip that down, suddenly you cannot open the door no matter what you do. Every house should have one of them

I felt 100% safe in that room. Even if you had a key, you wouldn't be able to get in
