The parent of the MGS student said the death of Ed – which they weren’t blaming on the school or the coaches – had started a conversation among the parents about that culture and what it costs their children

“You’ve got your parents on one side sitting there saying ‘these kids know what they’re getting into’,” the parent said.

“And you’ve got parents on the other side who just say that we are at a school level and these kids are being pushed beyond their limit.”

“Favouritism and nepotism” were another problem plaguing the sport, one of the parents said.

“You can’t compete with parents who buy $80,000 boats and have an expectation their children will receive a First spot”.

A Sydney nurse has been charged with three Commonwealth offences after allegedly making anti-Semitic threats in a video filmed at a hospital and widely shared online.
Sarah Abu Lebdeh, 26, was arrested on Tuesday evening after attending Sutherland Police Station.
She has been charged with threatening violence to a group, using a carriage service to threaten to kill, and using a carriage service to menace, harass, or offend.
The charges come from an investigation launched on February 12 by Strike Force Pearl detectives into a video allegedly filmed at Bankstown Hospital.

Bunch of elitist snobs with silver spoons up their ass
Oh definitely. I remember when we were looking around at high schools for me to go to. A relative of my uncle said to my mum "You can afford to send her to private school". She was the definition of a snob. I ended up going to public school 😉.

And that gets passed onto their kids. Years later we were at a family event and I was on the same table as her son and he was crapping on about how those that attend private school are more successful. I responded that I went to public school and that I did alright 😛.
