First gf I saw was 1993
I honestly can't remember the first Grand Final I watched on tv. The first GF I went to was 1992. My dad and brother were AFL Members and because Geelong was playing and interstate team in West Coast, the AFL sold guest passes, so my dad bought me one. The same in 1994.

1996 the Swans made the GF and my dad's friend got me a ticket. I was told I would be sitting next to nuns and I freaked out because I thought I would have to really behave! But they were really cool.

1997 I was finally a Full AFL Member so I could buy my own ticket. I've been to every GF since then except for obviously the 2 COVID ones, as well as 2023.

First gf I watched was 1990.

Think it took like 13 years to finally see one that wasn't a thrashing or easy win.
1976 Grand Final. Got a ticket from a colleague whose father was a Fitzroy big wig.

1991 prior I have absolutely no memories whatsoever. Would have to ask mum what I was doing
1991 we were moving furniture out of the house because we were about to rebuild. So I don't think I would have watched much of that. I probably wouldn't have been interested in Hawthorn v West Coast anyway!

Another memory I have of hearing the news in the morning about Darren Millaine. Was at the school library first thing and the librarians were talking about it
I was in class and other classmates were talking about it. I remember this really tough boy who was a Collingwood supporter was really devastated.
