Best thing I ever did was put in hybrid plank flooring, brown grey a bit more dark than average. Really tough to scratch and it needs to look clean is regular vacuuming. Barely have to mop it and even then it's really only just in the kitchen. Also very water resistant unlike laminate.

Laminate does look better though.

Last year was the first Anzac Round that the Swans played in Melbourne so it was the first time I experienced the Anzac ceremony live. The Last Post was really moving hearing it live. And it's one time when the crowd is actually silent.

I also get these Wholegrain rolls from there. My local store makes them a good size. They are much smaller from other stores that I've bought them from, so I stay clear of them. They are expensive enough as it is.
