I spent a lot of time there in the early 90s when my brother stayed there and then in the 00s for a bit at tafe, didn't think about it at the time but now when I drive through there now man Midland is such a dangerous suburb.

Emergency services responded to reports of a car travelling on the wrong side of freeway before it collided with a truck about 2.10am on Friday.

It appears the car travelled through the length of the Domain Tunnel on the wrong side of the road before collision.

The car driver, a Wyndham Vale woman, was taken to The Alfred Hospital in a serious condition with upper and lower body injuries.
