The stats sheet hurt the Dogs given they clearly did a lot right to get back into the game. They finished ahead in many of the key metrics; +5 inside 50s, +45 handballs, +9 clearances, +10 centre clearances, +13 contested possessions and +5 contested marks.
There was one statistic where they didn’t fare as well which had Dogs fans emotional, a 26-12 free-kick count in favour of the home team.
Beveridge took the high ground about a controversial out-of-bounds decision late in the game saying “swings and roundabouts happen”.

“No-one is sitting in our rooms thinking about the free-kick differential, no-one is talking about it. It just happens here and there,” he said.
Good on him. Credit to him for not biting.

You can only control what you can control. There were 3 turnovers by the Bulldogs that led to Geelong goals. Plus all the shots at goal that the Bulldogs missed.

Yeah exactly. Bulldogs arent a chance for the flag are you joking.

(neither is Geelong tbh)
I wouldn't say that neither team can't win the flag. Especially the Bulldogs if they can get all their injured players back.

But they're not Geelong and Saints from 2009.

Dr Warrillow said Ian, the only lunch guest to survive, was “extremely unwell” on August 2 with advanced multi-organ failure.
Ian is sitting in the body of the court, surrounded by family, as Dr Warrillow gives evidence.
The court heard his condition improved over August 6 and 7.
“There was some slow and important improvement over the next several days,” Dr Warrillow said.
“It was very slow because he was coming from a situation of extreme critical illness.”
Ms Lenthall asked Dr Warrillow how close Ian came to dying.
“We thought he was going to die. He was very close,” he said.
The court heard he was discharged from the ICU on August 21 before he returned home on September 21.

He confirmed a liver transplant was considered, but not undertaken for the same reasons as Gail.
“Ultimately no, she was too unwell to undergo the complex … surgery required for a liver transplant,” he said.
The court heard the doctors ultimately concluded her condition was “not survivable”.
She died on the same day as her sister on August 4.

The Swift insider claimed Lively drove the friendship with the pop sensation saying the Gossip Girl alum “always wanted to be the leader of the pack” forcing Swift to step in and “tone Blake down.”

Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, recently unfollowed Lively’s actor-husband Ryan Reynolds on Instagram — a sign the star footballer is following Swift’s lead in cutting ties.

“Taylor and Travis are disgusted with Blake and Ryan and how they tried to use Taylor in their fight against Justin Baldoni,” the insider claimed.

“They’re vowing their break from the acting couple is permanent.”

:tearsofjoy:

Haha the pictures that Trump used yesterday claiming white farmers were being murdered in South Africa, were actually from Congo 🤣.

And the white house is using evidence from news.com.au and Sky News 😂.

Later, the White House issued links to several media reports it said proved Trump was right, including two reports from Australia’s news.com.au and a Sky News Australia television editorial.

Blake Lively sounds like a real piece of work... what a cow.
It's getting really messy now. There's alot of bad information about her. I don't know what to believe. Is it just a smear campaign against her? But then again it's a number of different sources and not just from Justin Baldoni.

Nah I've seen the way she behaves in interviews. She's a massive campaigner
