I noticed this year when I was on RLA, there was someone on the side of the court monitoring the ballkids. When one of them made a mistake we looked over at the guy and he wrote something down . When it was a change of ballkids, he walked off with them into the tunnel and you could see him talking to them.

This kid kneeling at the umps chair just decided he was going to get the ball, was moving towards the sideline and the rally was still going
